okay so i’m sorry this is long.
I’m 15 years old, and I got my male kitten Gizmo last year around this time ( September 21 ). He is about a year old now, and my vet recently diagnosed my cat with what he think is most likely FIP (Feline Infectious Peritonitis). My cat is showing a few symptoms like fluid in the belly, jaundice, a little lethargy, and he’s a little warm and possibly some constipation. We thought he had worms, and his belly started to grow about a few weeks ago. We had no idea what it was and it’s not like it was that noticeable. He is eating fine, and drinking, up walking around playing (a little), and even purring, and cleaning himself, and going to the bathroom. He has grown so close to me, and I’m tearing up just typing this. I love him more than the world. Please don’t tell me, "Oh put him to sleep" my vet didn’t even reccommend this. He seems fine, he just really isn’t ‘himself’. I just didn’t get a chance to ask him whether any cat has ever survived FIP. Does anyone know IF ANY CAT HAS EVER SURVIVED FIP? I would really like to know, my cat seems to really be fighting this off, and he’s being strong! He tested negative for liver damage, FIV and other harmful things. Also he has never gotten sick, he is an indoor-only cat and seems to have a pretty strong immune system. Does anyone know if he has a chance at surviving this. Me and my family are going to do/get anything that will help him feel better. Also my cat is not having trouble breathing. He is breathing ok. If anyone could answer my few questions that would be great. I really would like to/ need to know.

I want to rig up a home made hydro system to start seedlings for an outside garden. will the seedlings grow faster and be healthier if i do this. any suggestions on how i would do this. do I want a deep water culture or a flood and drain system. thank you.
I just got this Mini Rex/Holland Lop mix at the county fair two weeks ago. I’m not sure about her age, but I can tell you that she’s probably about half grown, if not a bit more. She’s had only one other case of diarrhea, and I know that was because I gave her a small bit of celery and she didn’t agree with it. This was probably about a week ago.
This morning, I wake up to a lethargic rabbit with her hind end covered in diarrhea, and probably 3 big blobs of it she’d had through the night. I don’t know what caused it this time. I have no idea what she was fed before I got her (probably just those show pellets), but I’ve been feeding her Hartz Bonanza, and introduced her to KayTee brand timothy grass a few days ago.
Could it be the food? I’m not sure if the guy ever gave her grass before, but she was doing well with it before, and when I checked on her before bed last night, her droppings were the typical pellets. Could she be stressed out? My cat has a habit of watching her, but I keep a towel on top of the cage and the cage is in a corner and a good size, so even if he’d tr to reach a paw in she’d have room to keep away from him.
I just got about 3cc of water in her system with an eyedropper, about how much should i be giving her per hour to keep her hydrated, and what kind of diet can I put her on? Thankfully, she still seems aware of her surroundings and kicked a bit when I cleaned her rear, but I still need some serious advice here.
I want to grow weed indoors, i got my card so its cool, but i also got kids so Im just gonna do like a closet.. what do you recomend for something really cheap, lights and what not. im talkin like one two plants
